This post is going to be a generic get to know me post!

Okay first things first, my name is Faith Strange I am 18 years old and my birthday is February 25. I just graduated from Steele High School in a little subdivision outside of San Antonio, Texas. I did just about everything in high school that ranged from sports to academic to student leadership teams. I thrive where the people are, so I tend to go where ever the crowd is. But that is all behind me now because I am graduated. A little more about me: I have two sisters, one older and one younger, I have a brother in law, and the glue that ties us all together are my loving parents.

I moved around a lot growing up due to my dad being a pastor. By that I mean we have always gone where ever God takes us. Because of that I’ve never really had that tight knit group of christian peers that I’ve always wanted and honestly needed. Going on the WR is exactly where I can find that. I am so beyond excited to meet everyone and build those faith centered relationships with everyone. During this 9 months we will be all around the world, completely isolated to anything familiar. Being able to fully rely on God for everything is going to be a challenge, but it is a challenge I am more than willing to take on.

I have always been a writer, whether  it be poetry or short stories or even research essays. Writing has always come easy to me, which is why it is my favorite outlet for all the busy of my life. While I am on this adventure God has sent me on, I plan to use my blog as an outlet for all my writing. I want a place to share my stories and all the lessons I am learning along the way, and it doubles as a way to share the life I’m getting to live thousands of miles away. It may end up as a mix of stories and poems, but I plan to use this blog as a form of a diary.

I hope y’all are ready and buckled up for a whirlwind of emotions that will be thrown onto these pages. Thank you for all of your love and support!

Prayer Requests:

    • Fundraising/ spending money
    • For God to prepare my heart
    • The workload and stress of preparing to leave for 9 months
